LUNAR: Silver Star Story – The Call of the Wind (Kindle)

Well would you look at that!? It seems that GameArts has translated and made available Lunar: Silver Star Story’s tie-in novel by Kei Shigema, The Call of the Wind available on the Kindle (or other Kindle-friendly devices) and that as of this last weekend you have the ability to download a preview and full text version of the novel for $7.95. This has been a long time coming for Lunar fans like myself (who have previously relied on fan translations in word documents, grateful as we were) and almost as good as the initial announcement is that GameArts emphasizes that this is the ‘1st of the Lunar novels to be translated’ which hopefully pans out into translations for the remaining novels as well in this format.

I’m on this, and please, if you’ve never played a Lunar game, do yourself a favor and get crackin’! And coincidentally there’s even a shiny new PSP remake in Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (including a limited edition version) that you can still get your hands on that is a steal at $29.79. You won’t be sorry, it’s a great game with a great package of goodies that’s worth every penny.

It’s a great time to be a Lunar fan…now if they’d just announce a remake of Lunar: Eternal Blue for the PSP as well, or why we’re at, it a new Lunar game all-together!

Download the preview, and the full novel at Amazon
