Neither Nintendo nor Capcom (Team Ninja, Hudson, you name it) are making my decision whether or not to purchase the 3DS at launch any easier.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d absolutely love to be the first in line for the system, particularly with the slew of great games planned, but Nintendo has a real dastardly habit of announcing new and improved editions of their hand-held systems mere month(s) after fans have invested in the initial system and first hand experience has made me more than a little weary of making purchases like this day one.
I’m awful excited though, so it’s not a question of “if” I’ll buy the system, but “when” and there are so many announcements I can take before I’ll break.
Anyhow, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Not unlike it’s sibling Resident Evil: Revelations, this is a must buy for me. Here’s a brief description followed by the new trailer:
Featuring Mercenaries missions from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 now fully realized in stunning 3D, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D will deliver relentless action with players competing against the clock to defeat as many enemies as possible in a set time. Launching this summer, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D will include brand new modes and well known characters. Furthermore, the title will take advantage of the WiFi connectivity of the Nintendo 3DS, allowing players from around the world to join forces in co-op gameplay.
